1. As you consider the conditions of today’s world, do you mainly feel discouraged or encouraged? Why?

2. Why do you think the majority of people choose not to attend church services on most weekends? How much of this declining attendance is the church’s fault?

3. Do you see the church making a positive difference in the world? If so, how? If not, why not?

4. How can we, the church, keep running “with perseverance the race marked out for us”?
