1. Do you have anything in common with Jonah? When has the Lord called you to go through a situation that seemed unpleasant, disagreeable, or overwhelming?

2. Have you ever tried to run from God? What did you learn as a result?

3. Have you ever been in circumstances where you felt that you were in too deep to survive? How did you discover later that God was actually saving you and teaching you something important through the experience?
