Sunday School Lesson Text: Acts 10:19-33

1. Have you ever found yourself on the outside looking in? Can you think of a time when you felt left out and unwelcome in a social setting?

2. Is your church warm and welcoming to guests? Are you personally approachable and welcoming to people you don’t know?

3. If you were one of Jesus’ original disciples—brought up in a Jewish culture—do you think you would have found it easy to accept Gentiles as your brothers and sisters in Christ? Why, or why not?

4. What practical steps could you take to reach across a cultural barrier and befriend someone who currently stands outside your circle of friendship?
