1. If you had to define yourself to someone who didn’t know you and could only use five descriptive words, what words would you choose?
Read Jeremiah 23:5, 6; Zechariah 6:9-15; John 19:1-5.
2 Make a list of as many descriptive words about Jesus as you can find from these
passages.
3 Which of these descriptive words is most meaningful to you in your current season of life?
4 The verses from John describe events leading up to Jesus’ crucifixion and his sacrifice on our behalf. Choose a few words that you would share with a friend to describe what Jesus’ sacrifice means to you.
5 Break off into groups of two or three for prayer time. Share together a need that is weighing on your heart. Then spend time praying for one another.
