What languages do you speak? When was a time you were in a situation when you did not understand what was being said? How did you feel?
Read Acts 2:1-7, 12; 1 Corinthians 14:13-19.
In what specific ways was the Holy Spirit working in the Acts 2 passage?
How would you answer the question of the people in verse 12?
What did all this have to do with Christ’s commission and promises (see Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:4-8)?
What issue was Paul dealing with in this part of his letter to the Corinthian church? What principles did he communicate to them?
What happens in a group, church, or any organization in which communication is not clear and easy to understand? How does this affect their mission?
What principles about the power of God, clear communication, and unity of the body of Christ can you as a group apply from these passages?
