1. Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day in any way? Why or why not?

• Is this day more of a burden or a blessing to you? Explain.

• How does this day benefit your relationships?

Read Leviticus 23:15-22.

2. As you look at the descriptions of the Feast of Weeks, what was its overall purpose for the Jews?

3. How do these offerings help God’s people remember that God provides all good things for us? How do you seek to remember God’s blessings on a regular basis?

4. Read Hebrews 10:1-18 for the new covenant context. How have the sin offering and the fellowship (peace) offering been fulfilled?

5. The Festival of Weeks is also known as Pentecost. In what ways does this passage foreshadow the Pentecost in Acts 2?

6. This week, how specifically will you offer your body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God (Romans 12:1)?

7. Our text, Leviticus 23:15-21, is somewhat inward and upward-focused. Verse 22, however, is a reminder for us as God’s people to be outward focused as well. What can your small group do in the spirit of verse 22?
