1. Give group members pieces of paper and have them write a question on their paper they would like to ask other people, but rarely do. (Some examples: What’s your biggest struggle right now? If you could have any job in the world, what would it be? What childhood dream do you still want to see come true?) Ask group members to place their questions in a bowl, mix them up, then have each person draw out a question to read aloud and answer.
Read Hebrews 13:1-3, 6;
1 Corinthians 13.
2. It’s difficult to evaluate our love for others
without honest feedback. What type of feedback is most helpful to you when someone confronts you about the health of your relationships?
3. Using these verses as a guide, how can we be intentional in helping one another make authentic evaluations of our love toward others?
4. Loving our brothers and sisters in Christ is a high calling and one that requires supernatural power. For which characteristic of love described in these verses do you need the Lord’s supernatural power at work in your relationships right now?
5. Close by praying for the Lord to increase your love.
